In this show we discussed naloxone, a drug which can be used as an antidote for people who are overdosing on opiods.
In response to the opiod crisis, naloxone kits have been made available free of charge at a number of community and health locations across the province.
We talked about how to reduce the risk of overdosing (harm reduction) and how to tell the difference between someone who is high and someone who is overdosing.
We discussed the use of naloxone and the SAVE ME mnemonic.
