In this show Dr Dan and Jamieson talked about fibre.

Eating a diet sufficiently high in fibre can have extraordinary benefits, including your risk of diabetes, heart disease, cancer and possibly your chance of dying.

One of the commonest problems we see in the office setting is constipation, which is frequently associated with inadequate fibre intake. Apart form constipation, low fibre intake is linked to more serious bowel problems including haemorrhoids and diverticulitis.

We discussed what exactly fibre is and some good sources of dietary fibre.
