We talked about simple first aid measures for burns and when to seek medical attention.
Avoiding getting burnt in the first place is much better than having to deal with the consequences of a burn.
We also talked about carbon monoxide poisoning/exposure. It is a colourless, tasteless gas and so it is important to make sure you have a carbon monoxide detector at home.
We talked about the symptoms and management of carbon monoxide exposure, but as with burns and fire, prevention is better than cure!
